Lebanon, OH, September 30, 2015 - OPW Engineered Systems, part of OPW's Fluid segment within Dover (NYSE:DOV), announced the sale of its Sure Seal product line to NIBCO Inc., based in Elkhart, IN. NIBCO is a recognized leading provider of valves, fittings and flow control products for commercial, industrial and institutional construction as well as residential and irrigation markets.
The sale includes the following OPW Engineered Systems Sure Seal products:
- High Performance Valves
- Teflon Lined Butterfly Valves
- Resilient Seated Valves used in the chemical and industrial industries
- Lined Ball Valves
- Sample Valves
- Sanitary Valves
This transaction does not include the assets related to OPW Transportation's valve product line. Those products will continue to be manufactured and sold by OPW in Kansas City, MO, for the transportation market.
