Hodgkins, IL - OPW Fuel Management Systems, part of OPW Fueling Components, has scheduled a pair of Web-based product training seminars for the month of August.
The first virtual training seminar of the month will focus on the SiteSentinel® iSite™ Automatic Tank Gauging System and has been set for Aug. 4-5 beginning at 9 a.m. CDT and continuing for two hours each day. This course is designed to demonstrate the system start-ups and general operation of the SiteSentinel® iSite™, which is a multi-function, high-quality tank-monitoring system that provides real-time, accurate inventory information for hundreds of fuel-storage tanks
The month’s second virtual training seminar has been scheduled for Aug. 18-19 from 9-11 a.m. CDT each day and will focus on the AFC™ Fuel Control System. The versatile AFC Fuel Control System allows user access through use of cards or Durakeys, one-card, two-card or cardless access. The AFC is ideal for small to mid-size fleets with one stand-alone terminal able to control between two and eight hoses.
All registrants must have high-speed Internet access and an active individual e-mail address. Registrants must also download and read the appropriate training guides prior to the seminar. OPW Fuel Management Systems will award certificates of achievement on systems that are covered during the seminar. In order to receive certification, attendees must pass a mandatory written test on each system. Technicians are required to re-certify every three years and the re-certifying cost is $75 for each test. However, if the technician attends an onsite or Webex seminar, the cost of the test will be waived.
There is a $100 charge for attending a two-day Webex training course and payment must be received at least one week prior to the seminar date. A valid Visa, MasterCard or P.O. from the sponsoring distributor and sponsorship by an authorized OPW Fuel Management Systems distributor are required to participate in these Webex courses. Seminar fees are non-refundable once the registration has been sent. If OPW cancels the seminar, a refund will be sent to the technician or it can be used for a future Webex seminar.
