Itatiba, Brazil – OPW Fueling Components, a Dover Company (NYSE: DOV) and the global leader in commercial and retail petroleum equipment, announced today that it has named Stefanie Furrer to Director of HR, Latin America, effective July 2, 2012, and will report directly to Phil Carlin, GM FMS.
Stefanie will be responsible for partnering with our Latin American leadership team to develop and enhance HR strategy in line with international standards and practices and deliver new, high caliber initiatives. She will build strong relationships and will integrate HR as a key driver in business decision making. She will also work on important HR strategic initiatives such as performance management, talent planning, teambuilding, group process facilitation, organizational design, staffing, policy and procedure interpretation, compensation, and various projects which support the HR and clients business strategy.
Stefanie most recently worked as HR Manager for GE Home & Business Solutions, São Paulo, where she was in charge of all HR sub-systems and led several projects such as business integrations, dissolutions, startups and reorganizations. She has a BS degree in Psychology from Universidade São Francisco and a MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas.
She lives in Campinas with her husband and two children.
She will be based out of our Itatiba, Brazil facility.
