Hodgkins, IL, – OPW Fuel Management Systems, part of OPW Fueling Components, is pleased to announce the availability of its new automated Dispenser Terminal Control (DTC) Fuel Control System, which allows communication to third-party in-dispenser card reader/terminal that enables fleet owners to confidently manage and support their fueling operations.
The DTC is the ideal solution for private fleet and cardlock fueling applications as it possesses the ability to conveniently track and report fueling transactions by individual driver and/or vehicle. To achieve this, the DTC enables the FSC3000™ Fuel Site Controller to communicate with Gilbarco CRIND and Wayne CAT in-dispenser card readers/terminals through a direct interface with their respective distribution boxes; this eliminates the need for additional conduit wiring to be run between the fuel island and the building. In addition, up-to-four in-dispenser card readers/terminals can also connect directly to the DTC interface when a distribution box is not available. By communicating to the in-dispenser terminal, The DTC interface emulates a fuel island terminal for each fueling position that is connected to the DTC system.
In conjunction with the existing capabilities of the FSC3000, The DTC offers a number of new features from OPW-FMS that help set it apart from the competition, including:
- Communicates with FSC3000-based fuel island terminals and Gilbarco or Wayne in-dispensers simultaneously
- Future Media price-sign support
- Tiered Discounts that support Gasboy-formatted fueling cards
- Tiered Accounts for credit cards and/or proprietary cards/key fobs that allow tier pricing to be set via a user-entered account number
- Accepts the following cards: CFN, registered bank cards, TCH, Fuelman®/GASCARD, Comdata, Fleet One®, Wright Express®, T-Chek™, EFS and Pacific Pride.
