Prague, Czech Republic – OPW, a Dover Company (NYSE: DOV), is proud to announce that Carman Kobza, Managing Director of OPW EMEA, recently participated on a Czech Chamber of Commerce official business mission to the Middle East. The purpose of the mission was to strengthen business ties and relationships with Saudi Arabia, Yemen and UAE. Mr. Kobza accompanied H.E. Karel Schwarzenberg, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, on the diplomatic and trade mission. Taking place from May 18-23, the delegation made official stops in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Sana’a, Yemen, and the Emirates Ras al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi.

During the trip, Mr. Kobza networked on the Entrepreneurs’ Forum and participated in daily meetings between the respected countries’ ministers and top businessmen. At the Palace of the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr al Qasimi, individual meetings between invited company representatives followed the official governmental dialogue of extending mutual friendships and cooperation. At each stop, Mr. Kobza listened to the needs of the region and gave presentations to hundreds of attendees, explaining the benefits of utilizing OPW equipment and how it provides the right solutions to meet their unique and evermore demanding needs. In addition, Mr. Kobza presented OPW’s FlexWorks underground fuel piping installation near the Abu Dhabi Formula One course on Yas Island and gave a special interview for Yemen TV.
