Midland, a global leader in railroad tank car safety valves and equipment, is pleased to announce that company representatives will deliver two expert presentations at The Chlorine Institute 2019 Annual Meeting, Technology Symposium & Expo, April 8-11 in Houston, TX. These sessions will focus on Handling and Repairing Rail Car Valves in Chlorine Service and the Application of HCL Pressure Relief Valves.
“Midland products lead the way in terms of safety and efficiency, and the CI meeting is a perfect stage to share our expertise,” said Kevin Cook, General Manager of Midland Manufacturing, OPW’s global rail business. “We hope to educate attendees on proper valve procedures and how to get the highest performance out of their chlorine rail tank car valves.”
Both presentations will take place on April 10 at the Royal Sonesta Houston hotel. Steve Wells, Technical Sales Support Specialist for Midland, will lead the session on Handling and Repairing Rail Car Valves in Chlorine Service at 9:10 a.m. in the Legends VI Ballroom, and Khiem Hoang, Director of Engineering and Regulatory Compliance for Midland, will follow with the discussion of HCL Pressure Relief Valves at 1:30 p.m. in the Legends II Ballroom.
