The largest show of its kind, ILTA is a collection of innovative technology engineered to keep aboveground storage tanks and liquid terminal operations running smoothly. From June 3-5, OPW Engineered Systems provided a look into its advanced offering for fluid transfer, including a new loading arm program and coupler that is the best in bottom loading.
The main attraction of OPW Booth 741 was the introduction of StandardLine, ProLine and CustomLine Loading Arm Solutions. These new lines bring fast delivery times and unlimited customization together, and attendees were impressed to learn about each package’s features, including:
- Ready-made arms in 20 working days or less from the StandardLine
- Arms that can be fitted with OPW components for specific functionality and are available in approximately 30 days from the ProLine
- Infinitely customizable loading arms from the CustomLine that can be engineered to spec with materials of the customer’s choosing
The flexible options allow all sizes of terminals to benefit from OPW’s quality construction, while not having to suffer the downtime that traditionally comes with equipment replacement. The new delivery options were only one aspect of the company’s presence at ILTA, which featured in-depth demonstrations on a selection of terminal products.
One of the most impressive products is the LYNX API Coupler, a low-maintenance coupler that guarantees years of service. With a U-pin design that ensures quick and easy disassembly, LYNX is a workhorse that can be easily taken apart and put back together during the rare occasion when it does require maintenance. Aside from LYNX, OPW Engineered Systems showed its wide-ranging line of couplers, pictured below, to help attendees sort out the proper connection for their applications.
OPW Engineered Systems has established a position as a complete provider of terminal equipment, including swivel joints, couplers, electronics and accessories.
