The Convenience U CARWACS Show is the largest annual industry event for Canada’s convenience store, petroleum retailing and car wash professionals.
At the show, OPW Retail Fueling will be displaying several of its leading dispensing, fuel-containment and transfer products for the retail-fueling industry, including:
- ElectroTite Tank Sump: As the industry’s first conduit-less tank sump, ElectroTite sumps feature an integrated electrical junction box that no longer requires contractors to cut holes in the sump and fabricate field-installed electrical conduit penetrations. The factory-installed, UL-listed, explosion-proof junction box allows electricians to use a single component for conduit seal-offs and wire connections for both high-voltage and communication wires. The result eliminates multiple unnecessary leak points at installation and creates a tank sump that will not be susceptible to any type of fuel leakage or water intrusion, which provides the highest level of protection ever for both the fueling system’s components and the environment. The ElectroTite sump is also constructed via a manufacturing process that ensures consistent wall thickness, a smooth finish inside and out, and watertight, leak-free operation.
- 14C Diesel-Capture Nozzle: A member of OPW’s 14 Series of Clean Fueling Nozzles, the 14C model features a specially designed Integral Diesel Capture Chamber and Environmental Drip Guard. These features enable the nozzle to capture any diesel fuel inside and outside the spout when the nozzle is returned to the cradle, creating a cleaner and safer fueling experience. This diesel-capture chamber also allows the nozzle’s venturi to evacuate the captured fuel and reintroduce it into the fuel stream. The 14C has been approved for use with diesel blends up to B20.
- DEF Loop System: This extension of the OPW FlexWorks Loop System™ is built to optimize storage and containment of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF/AdBlue) while delivering the same prefabricated “plug-and-play” benefits of other models. The new DEF Loop System can also be integrated into the HiFlo Loop System, which “supersizes” the system’s components so they can deliver higher flow rates, making it ideal for use at truck stops or hybrid convenience-store setups that feature truck-fueling lanes. The system allows for surface accessibility of all piping for easy maintenance, decreased installation time and the elimination of connection points.
