Skokie, IL, April 10, 2014 – Midland Manufacturing, the global leader in railroad tank car safety valves and equipment, and a division of OPW, has appointed Steve Herbst product manager for pressure car products and remanufacturing services for Midland Manufacturing, the global leader in railroad tank car safety valves and equipment, and a division of OPW. Herbst will oversee all marketing functions, new product development and management for Midland pressure car products and remanufacturing services.

Prior to joining Midland, Herbst’s previous position included heading a successful marketing consulting company and global product manager with Weber Stephen Products. Herbst is a graduate of the DePaul University Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He will be based out of Midland’s Skokie, IL, headquarters.
