Elizabeth Gubrud-Howe who was recently named one of Manufacturing Institute’s 2017 STEP Ahead Award honorees.
Gubrud-Howe is a 10-year OPW veteran and currently leads the National Sales Team at Midland Manufacturing and manages the Repair Business Unit. Her leadership and collaboration skills have helped direct cross-functional teams to solve customer needs, develop better forecasting models and mentor new sales team members. Elizabeth is also active in the community, most notably with Siskiyou Mountain Club, a 501(c)(3) public charity that restores, maintains, and promotes primitive trails in the Siskiyou backcountry.

Gubrud-Howe was one of 100 honorees recognized for her leadership and excellence within the industry.
“I am passionate about manufacturing because products represent our legacy. Unlike software and similar industries, our products last 50 years or more and provide real solutions that will continue to be relevant. In my position, I get to be part of it every step of the way,” said Gubrud-Howe.
The 2017 STEP Ahead Awards were presented to the honorees on April 20 in Washington, D.C.
