The new CARB AST Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) regulation establishes limitations for hazardous air pollutants emitted from ASTs used at Gasoline Dispensing Facilities. The new standards and specifications cover standing loss control, Phase I deliveries into ASTs and Phase II deliveries into motor vehicles. The Phase I EVR requirements went into effect in July 2010.

OPW Fueling Components announced today that it has reached a long-term, private label distribution agreement with FAFNIR, GmbH to distribute FAFNIR’s VAPORIX Vapour Recovery Performance Monitoring system as part of its new ATEX and TUV Certified Next Generation CVS2 Central Vacuum Stage II Vapor Recovery System.

OPW Fueling Components, the company that is leading the way in fueling innovation worldwide, is proud to announce that it has received Underwriters Laboratories Listing (UL) for its new 21Ge™ Series Nozzles, ethanol swivels, breakaways and its 10 Plus Emergency Shut-Off Valve for use in applications containing ethanol concentrations up to 85 percent. This third-party listing was received after the company’s products passed a rigorous testing process by UL.

ISO 14001:2004 is awarded to companies that meet ISO-established guidelines for energy-management systems at their plants.

This annual award is given to the company that has the best industrial safety record of all manufacturing facilities in Butler County that compile between 250,000 and 750,000 man-hours without a lost-time injury.

For SKS’ specific application, the SiteSentinel® iSite™ is able to handle a facility with 32 tanks, as well as offer 15-foot probes. In his search for a solution, Bowden had found that some other systems can manage locations with no more than 12 tanks equipped with 10-foot probes.  

OPW is proud to announce that the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has approved the OPW 21Gv™ ORVR Nozzle for use at existing Stage II Vapor Recovery installations. The State of New York recognizes that the use of the OPW 21Gv increases system efficiency when used in place of non-ORVR compatible nozzles, thus giving further incentive for its use with vacuum-assist Stage II systems.
