OPW announces the promotion of David Gibble to Product Manager for OPW Engineered Systems within its Chemical & Industrial (C&I) business unit. Prior to this appointment, Gibble was part of the Inside Sales Team for OPW Engineered Systems. In this newly formed position, Gibble will report directly to Dave Morrow, Director of Product Management – OPW Chemical & Industrial.

With a proximity reader, users can simply hold the card or key fob close to the reader – which identifies the user and checks whether or not to grant access to fueling – without the need to insert a card into a reader device.

Prior to this appointment, Vander Hey was the Commercial District Manager for OPW Retail Fueling, an OPW business unit and the leading manufacturer of fueling components such as nozzles, underground pipes and vapor recovery systems to protect the environment and consumer for conventional and alternative fuels. In his new position, Vander Hey will report directly to Parrish Evans, Director of Sales for OPW Retail Fueling.

Midland Manufacturing, the global leader in railroad tank car safety valves and equipment, and a division of OPW, will now offer repair services of railcar valves in addition to its Valve Remanufacturing & Repair Program. Standard repair services of general and pressure railcar valves will consist of testing, cleaning, collecting of data, replacing soft goods (i.e., gaskets), assembling and final testing.

Prior to this appointment, Morrow was the Product Manager for OPW Engineered Systems, an OPW brand and the leading manufacturer of loading arm and coupling systems for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of hazardous materials.

OPW is pleased to announce that its KPS LPG Pipe System™ is now approved by TÜV SÜD for use on LPG filling stations. The TÜV approval validates that the KPS LPG Pipe System™ is fit for its intended purpose and may be used on German LPG refuelling stations.

The Dover Sons & Daughters Scholarship recognizes outstanding high school seniors and current college students who are the children of Dover employees and who have demonstrated excellence through their academic record, test scores, leadership abilities and through their extracurricular activities and work record. Awardees may receive up to $10,000 in undergraduate scholarship support contingent upon maintaining academic and program eligibility. Now in its third year, this program has made 139 awards totaling nearly $700,000 in scholarship support.

OPW will debut its new user-friendly SiteSentinel^® Nano^™ Tank Gauge, which packages intuitive software and a colour touchscreen in a compact console, at the 2014 UNITI Expo June 3-5 in Germany.

OPW is pleased to announce the launch of the industry’s first Fibrelite GRP above ground fill sump range. The new GRP above ground fill sump range – including model S22SH-2/AGF – is the result of collaboration with a global oil company and has been specifically designed to replace existing concrete sumps and connect to existing underground piping for easy installation.

The new business unit is comprised of OPW Fuel Management Systems and PDQ Manufacturing, Inc. This move is part of a broader Dover initiative to enhance customer value across its portfolio by leveraging synergies between its many operating companies.
