SMITHFIELD, NORTH CAROLINA – OPW Fueling Containment Systems, a division of OPW Fueling Components, has made a commitment to providing the most compelling mix of solutions in the fueling-containment industry. That commitment is exemplified by the recent announcement that the company now offers the industry’s most complete line of 40 CFR 63-compliant underground storage tank (UST) products.
On Jan. 10, 2008, a new U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulation known as 40 CFR 63 went into effect. This regulation was created to establish national emission limitations and management practices for hazardous air pollutants (HAP) that may be emitted during the loading of gasoline storage at gasoline-dispensing facilities (GDF) with a throughput of more than 100,000 gallons per month. Site operators who meet these parameters were given a deadline of Jan. 10, 2011, to get their sites in compliance with this new regulation.
To meet this new regulation, OPW offers the industry’s most complete line of 40 CFR 63-complaint UST products, from spill containers and overfill prevention valves to vapor-tight caps and pressure vacuum vents. “As new regulations are introduced by the EPA and other agencies, OPW is proud to be able to provide industry leading products that allow our customers to meet these new challenges,” said Chuck Liebal, Product Manager, OPW Fueling Containment Systems.
