OPW has been innovating in above ground and below ground fueling equipment for over 125 years, always striving to make tweaks and improvements that have major impact. At the 2019 Petroleum Equipment Institute Convention in Atlanta, OPW’s Retail Fueling business will be highlighting a powerful new component for its Loop System and a new addition to the 14 Series family of nozzles in Booth 4311.
The PEI Convention is a hub for the fueling industry, where manufacturers, distributors and retail station operators can come together to demo products and talk shop. The main focus of the OPW Retail Fueling booth at the 2019 show will include:
- High-Flow Dispenser Loop Sump
- The newest component in the Loop System, this sump handles high-flow applications like diesel. It can accommodate 3” fuel pipe, 6” Access Pipe for retractability, 2” impact valves and fuel dispensing on both sides of a heavy-duty truck lane.
- 14BP Dripless Gasoline Nozzle
- 14BP is the newly added option in the 14 Series of cleaner, greener fueling nozzles. This nozzle uses patented, free-draining dripless-spout technology from the 14E (still the industry’s first and only CARB-Approved Dripless Conventional nozzle) combined with technologies from the industry standard OPW 11BP nozzle.
The full Loop System, which offers easy installation with prefabricated parts and above ground accessibility for service, and each of the 14 Series nozzles, which keep gasoline and diesel from getting on customers and forecourts, will be on display as well. OPW experts will be on hand to explain these new, patented technologies and discuss your station’s equipment needs.
Defining What’s Next in Secure Fueling Systems
Keeping water intrusion and fuel spillage from compromising retail fueling operations is a constant battle, and OPW engineers work tirelessly to help stations win. Innovations above and below ground keep us ahead of the curve for performance and regulations. At this year’s PEI Convention, you can see firsthand how we continue “Defining What’s Next.”
