Going into the PEI/NACS Show 2011, National Petroleum News magazine interviewed David Crouse, president at OPW Fueling Components, for his insight on the industry and some notable equipment issues relative to marketers and retailers. During the interview, Crouse touched on a variety of subjects, including: the state of the U.S. economy, new product development, predictions on DEF, alternative fuels and much more.

OPW, A Dover Company (NYSE: DOV) and the global leader in commercial and retail fueling equipment, announced today that Steve Stewart has joined its sales team as the new Eastern Canada District Manager. Stewart begins his tenure with OPW on July 5 and is responsible for the provinces of Quebec, Ontario, Nova Scotia. Stewart will be based in Guelph, Ontario, and will report directly to Andy Strickland, Western Regional Manager for OPW Fueling Components.

Lucas carries a host of ICC certifications in the state of California and has experience in products from all 3 OPW business units. His experience with installation, maintenance, and testing of our products combined with being strategically located near Sacramento makes Lucas ideal for this position.

Jay has more than 25 years experience in the petroleum equipment industry and has served as OPW Southwest District Sales Manager for the past ten years. In this position Jay was responsible for existing sales and new business activities as well as relationship management with distributors, marketer customers and regulatory agencies in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Jay will be replaced by Josh Vander Hey who joined OPW on January 10, 2011, as OPW Southwest Regional Sales Manager.

As OPW Southwest District Sales Manager, Josh will be responsible for existing sales and new business activities as well as relationship management with distributors, marketer customers and regulatory agencies in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.

As OPW Northeast District Sales Manager, Jeffrey will be responsible for existing sales and new business activities as well as relationship management with distributors, marketer customers and regulatory agencies in New York City & Long Island, Northern New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

The YouTube channel already features a number of videos such as the OPW corporate video and numerous product videos and animations. Additional videos will be added as they become available with topics ranging from customer success stories to new product releases to roundups of trade show appearances by all of the OPW companies. In conjunction with the launch of the new product lineup, OPW announced that it will be discontinuing its Richards brand. Most of the products that are currently sold under the Richards label will be rebranded as OPW products, while a limited number of Richards items will be discontinued.

The new CARB AST Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) regulation establishes limitations for hazardous air pollutants emitted from ASTs used at Gasoline Dispensing Facilities. The new standards and specifications cover standing loss control, Phase I deliveries into ASTs and Phase II deliveries into motor vehicles. The Phase I EVR requirements went into effect in July 2010.
